Finally some new updates. We've been very busy in the yard and with our newest family member, Stonepointe's Secret Weapon (Stealer)
We've also added a new member to the mlifer.com family, Mar-Ed Vizslas.
Check out their sub site, especially the 7 puppies born to Skye.

Several updates
-
Slowly adding pictures taken this past weekend at the Vizsla Club of Michigan's specialty show in Monroe, MI.
Targeting end of week (Sunday) to have all of them sorted, cropped, inserted into the web pages, and loaded.
- We've changed the layout of the photograph pages.
- The picture thumbnails are on the left and have been reduce to 90x90 max .
- A 640x640 max image of the current picture is to the right.
- To the right of the larger image is a little camera icon. Click on the icon (you might have to activate Java) and the photo's camera settings will appear.
- Click on the picture itself will bring up the full sized image for downloading.
- Download all you want, just please be kind and let us know if you use the photo. We normally only ask for a link from your web site to ours for their use.
- Announced the closure of Red Dog Candles on the Red Dog Candle page.
- News page title changed from "Spring has sprung, the grass has riz, do you know where the birdies is? Kaylee does... and she has a new AKC Junior Hunting title to prove it!"

Finally replacing the photo gallery software.
A link to the new software has been added to the Mike Lifer Photography page.
Be patient as it's going to take about 12 hours to upload the photos already on the web page.

Kaylee is now a Junior Hunter!
Two days and two passes at the Vizsla Club of Michigan hunt test where she received her 3rd and 4th passes.

Been almost 2 months since my last update.
Lots going on.
Tonight I've added Vizsla Rescue subpage to the Ten Oaks Vizsla page.
Will post something soon about the MVVC Hunt Test were we performed the Test Secretary Duties.
Kaylee entered and received her second JH Pass!
Big thanks to Sue Branch for all the work she's doing with Kaylee.

I have updated the AKC point charts available on the "A Guide to AKC Show Points for the Vizsla Breed" sub page of the Ten Oaks Vizsla page.
The new 2006 number requirements for show points take affect May 15.

Seems the photography archives have fixed themselves.
It's been over 24 hours and the photos are still showing.
Just in time for us to pack for a trip to Tallmage tomorrow.

We continue to work with the gurus from our Internet Service Provider and the LinPHA support groups to resolve the Photography Archives issue.
Making progress and they should be available soon.
Several new features were added this week:
- The news by category feature has been disabled. News that was on those pages has been moved to this page.
- The Dogs page has been renamed Ten Oaks Vizslas. This is our public announcement of our chosen kennel name.
- Several new items for the Ten Oaks sub site.
- A new intro to the Magic Meatball page was written.
- Kaylee's Relatives page was created. Information on her sister Twister is listed

A very small part of Kaylee's page has been published.
This was done due to limitations in the software being used.
Look for big improvements this month.
- The Photography page has been renamed Mike Lifer Photography to keep it in line with the Dogs page renaming.
- The Candle page has been renamed Red Dog Candles to keep it in line with the Dogs page renaming.

Don't think anyone can blame us for stopping work on fixing the photo archives to play with our new toys.
- A 24" x 32" rectangle soft box 1000W portrait light
- (2) 33" reflective umbrella soft boxes
- A 7' boom stand
- A Canon back pack style camera bag

An iRobot Roomba Discovery robotic vacuum cleaner (so we can spend less time cleaning our studio and more time capturing canine memories.)
Now if only that back drop stand would arrive, we could start fulfilling all of our IOU for in home portraits sessions.
